Behemoth Banks' Malignant Mergers

It amazes me that today's monstrous banks are being allowed to merge and grow into even uglier behemoths by Federal regulators when anyone who has a bank account knows that each merger has led to staff layoffs, branch closings, higher fees, fewer services, lesser choices, poorer customer services, and overall negative effect on the banking experience consumers have. It is even worse that while this happens the senior exuectiouners...errrr..executives make Million$, yet it is the tax payer's money that is used to provide federal insurance to these banks regardless of their uncivil actions, poor investments, unliateral imposition of extortion like rates and total disregard for anything but blind enrichment of the top officers. 3/21/98

REMOVED: Opinions on Microsoft Monopoly, which were proven correct by the court findings, and opinions on US policy in Kosovo, as the US did the right thing there.
