We are seeking to expand our base in Pakistan and are currently seeking Lahore- and Karachi-based Executive Assistants for our New York-based CEO. Your job will be to act as a Personal Executive Assistant to the CEO and conduct correspondence, communications, phone calls and follow up tasks dealing with clients in America and Europe using the Internet. Almost all of this will be done over the Internet so you must have a reliable Internet connection, a good computer, excellent written and spoken English and a responsible personality

The unique nature of the opportunity also means you do not have to attend a 9-5 type office and may even be able to work from your own home. You can work from home but will require flexibility plus the will and desire to get things done on time.

The ideal candidate(s) will have a great command of the English language. (This is ESSENTIAL because we require EXCELLENT English written AND verbal skills). Please do not apply if your English is not EXCELLENT. Having great SAT or TOEFL scores will get you preference.

We have no specific academic or degree requirements. An understanding of business and technology would be helpful but you do not have to be an engineer or MBA - (nor do you need to buy a fake degree like some well known political people!).

We feel very strongly in giving opportunities to people who need to work from home, e.g. girls not willing to work in an office for social or cultural reasons, stay-at-home-mothers, disabled individuals, are some good examples.

Selected candidate must own his or her own personal computer (Apple Macintosh preferred, but multimedia capable Windows PC is acceptable) and already have a high-speed (e.g. cable or DSL) Internet connection at home. You must have at least one telephone number (having a reliable mobile phone is acceptable instead of land line).

The job does not really require TRAVEL but candidates who are mobile and have their own transport would be preferred.
